Before a building design is ever created, before an auditorium seating capacity is decided on, before a project budget is established, thoughtful analysis needs to take place. Our process typically involves 7 steps:
- Consider together the life and vision of a church: what is, what was & what is to come
- Project the church’s numerical growth and financial capacity over time
- Review options to meet growth needs (multiple services, multiple venues, multiple site, church planting, etc.) so that the church can decide the best approach to continued growth
- Determine the type(s) of space(s) that will best meet the selected option for continued growth
- Prioritize goals and objectives in a hierarchy space types & capacities
- Develop a financial plan to realize the prioritized spaces over time (phasing)
- Map a course with specific action items & a schedule to implement the first phase of the plan
These steps lay the foundation for a successful project and keep expectations realistic as facility plans are subsequently developed.
