Before a building design is ever created, before an auditorium seating capacity is decided on, before a project budget is established, thoughtful analysis needs to take place. Our process typically involves 7 steps:

  1. Consider together the life and vision of a church: what is, what was & what is to come
  2. Project the church’s numerical growth and financial capacity over time
  3. Review options to meet growth needs (multiple services, multiple venues, multiple site, church planting, etc.) so that the church can decide the best approach to continued growth
  4. Determine the type(s) of space(s) that will best meet the selected option for continued growth
  5. Prioritize goals and objectives in a hierarchy space types & capacities
  6. Develop a financial plan to realize the prioritized spaces over time (phasing)
  7. Map a course with specific action items & a schedule to implement the first phase of the plan

These steps lay the foundation for a successful project and keep expectations realistic as facility plans are subsequently developed.
