The craft of an architect is to design buildings, interior spaces, functionality and amenities in aesthetically pleasing way. Buildings tend to give identity to an organization. Though we know that the building is not the church, the building is the way that many in the community identify the church. We strive to create buildings that are attractive to the community while utilizing cost-effective construction. Our goal is not to create impressive architecture, but architecture that somehow reflects your church and leaves the impression you want to make on your guests.
“Green Architecture” also has become important in recent years. Before this was in vogue, we incorporated many common-sense solutions in our designs that fit in this category. Our qualifications were formalized in becoming LEED Accredited Professionals several years ago. (LEED is an abbreviation for Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design.) For clients that want to achieve a LEED certification for their building – whether out of conviction or for community good will – we can deliver this kind of architecture as well.
